Open to all women 18 years and over...

COS Women’s Auxiliary

The COS Women’s Auxiliary is a community of women who are organized to foster camaraderie among the women of the parish and to provide a spiritual avenue for women to use their talents and resources to render service to God.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a women’s ministry that inspires, strengthens, and empowers women to love God and people by working with other church ministries to foster unity and fellowship. The COS Women’s Auxiliary will engage in charitable, community and family activities, while supporting the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, Silver Spring, Maryland, in selected projects and programs.

Goals

The goals of the COS Women are as follows:

  • To provide an avenue of fellowship and support for the women of COS;
  • To continue our growth as Christian women;
  • To serve God by using our special gifts and talents to support the parish and the community;
  • To widen the circle of friendship among women in our church family, while fulfilling our spiritual nourishment.

Membership

Membership is open to all Christian women over the age of eighteen (18) years who are in good standing in the community. We continue to focus on building our membership and cultivating friendships.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month at 12:30PM in the Undercroft – a great time of fellowship and brainstorming!

If you are interested in this ministry you are invited to attend the next meeting. Come be a part of a great group of ladies eager to serve God!
