The Church of Our Saviour (COS) Rectory, located at 10207 Greenacres Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20903, adjacent to the church, is a valuable asset of the church.  It is a convenient place of residence for our presiding rector who needs only take a one-minute walk to get to the church.  This way, he/she is always accessible to do the work for which he/she was ordained.  From here, the rector is also able to keep an eye on the church and respond quickly in the event of an emergency.  Unfortunately, this facility is now under threat of immediate foreclosure.

Due to financial difficulties brought on mainly by the COVID-19 crisis, our beloved church, the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, “a home for all of God’s people,” is in jeopardy of losing this valuable asset.  Ironically, while our main mission continues to be community outreach, we are now placed into a situation whereby we, ourselves, are in need of community assistance.  Of course, this lamentable turn of events does not preclude us from continuing to pursue our Soup-to-Go programme nor our partnership with the Samaritan Ministry, for example.

However, it is in order that we can maintain the highest level of community outreach possible, that we are prayerfully requesting your generous assistance in this challenging time and gracefully thanking you for your prayers, blessings and support in raising the $267,000.00 that we so desperately need.
